The first images of the new concept which will be presented this month by Jaguar at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Its name is C-XF, and, theoretically, this will be the car which will replace the current S-Type.
The body uncovers distinguished lines especially in the front. In this chapter there is a significant place for the headlights and the air intakes which contribute to the overall design of the car.
The officials of the British Jaguar brand say that the new style of the radiator grid will soon become a distinctive element for all the future models.
When it comes to the interior, Ian Callum, the design director, says that the new C-XF concept has the most interesting binacle ever designed by Jaguar.
The luxury and elegance were combined for a single purpose: the absolute comfort of the four passengers.
The C-XF model is powered by a 4.2 liter V8 engine which develops 420 bhp and a 500Nm torque. The transmission is ensured by a 6 gear gearbox. The speed is electronically limited at 250 km/h although without this restriction C-XF could reach 290 km/h.
